Overtones sing for homeless vets

The Overtones, members of the Boonslick Chordbusters, stopped by "Welcome Home, Inc." on Range Line Road in Columbia to sing a few songs during their annual open house on September 25, 2004.  Welcome Home, Inc. is an organization that provides transitional residence programs for men who are homeless veterans.

The guys sang a couple of old barbershop favorites -- "I Want A Girl" and "Five Foot Two" -- followed by a rendition of Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World", and then finished with "God Bless America".  There were smiles all around, but none bigger than on the faces of the Overtones!
