Singing Valentines

2008 (Apr 26):  Concert at First Baptist Church in Columbia, 7:30 p.m.  50% of proceeds went to benefit the renovation of the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts.

2006 (December 16):  Our 2006 Christmas Show: The Secret of Christmas

2006 (April 8):  Our Annual Spring Show: "Remember Radio".  Our special guests were the internationally ranked quartet Vocal Spectrum!  Click here for more details.

2005 (May 21):  Experiencing Technical Difficulties.  Our Annual Show shifted to the Spring in 2005!  Our special guest quartets were Storm Front and Jurassic Larks.

2004 (December 11):  Our Annual Christmas Show with special guest chorus Heart of America from Kansas City!

2004 (October 23):  Joint Show in Moberly with the Heart of Missouri Sweet Adelines Chorus.  Moberly Area Community College Auditorium, 7:30 p.m.  Sponsored by the Moberly Area Council On The Arts.

2004 (October 16):  Our Annual Show, "Happy Together", with special guest quartet Gas House Gang!

2003 (December 6):  We were once again very fortunate and pleased to welcome the Ambassadors of Harmony for our annual Christmas Show.  Missouri Theatre.  Two shows: 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (click here for more information)

2003 (October 18):  Sentimental Journey -- our special guest quartet for the 2003 Fall Show was the 1996 International Champion Quartet Nightlife, and our CSD guest was the Noise Boys!

2002 (December 14):  How The Big Chicken Saved Christmas.  A very special Christmas show featuring The Big Chicken Chorus, who came all the way from Marietta, GA!

2002 (October 12):  'Cross Our Wide Missouri - our special guests were 1999 International Champion Quartet FRED and Central States District standout and 2-time International top-20 quartet 3 Men & A Melody!  (click here for more information . . .)

2001 (December 1):  Christmas Show with the Ambassadors of Harmony.

2001 (October 20):  "Look Out, World!" with special guests Tone-Henge and Four Voices.

2000 (October 21):  "Showboat of Harmony" with special guests Chordiac Arrest and the Rivertown Sound.

1999: "Phantom of the Barbershop" -- we welcomed the Jurassic Larks and 12th Street Rag as our guest quartets.

1998: "Heritage of Harmony" -- guest quartets were Gas House Gang and Vivid Image

1997: "Just Plain Barbershop" -- with guest quartets Expanded Sound and Lucky Star

2002 Spring Convention & Contest

The 2002 Central States District Spring Convention and Contest was held April 12-13 in Columbia, MO this year, hosted by the Boonslick Chordbusters.  One of the highlights of the weekend was the quartet competition to determine which quartets will compete at the international competition in Portland this summer.    (click here for the information page that we posted prior to the event . . .)
